Sunrise over .........

......... the river.

Up early and out when I saw that the sky looked promising.
Drove to the River Nene where, despite it not feeling particularly cold, I was surprised to see mist coming off the surface of the water.
Definitely not complaining as it added an extra layer to the photograph .......

There are actually four birds in the photo .....

The weather looks beautiful at the moment so I suspect it will be a few hours in the garden - I got half of the grass cut in the back garden yesterday but had to give up when the rain got very heavy! It looks strange this morning part done.
