Big country

An accomplished and entertaining speech at Plaid Cymru's conference by Mike Parker, parliamentary candidate for Ceredigion. Mike came to Wales to write the Rough Guide, and stayed. He told a story of a man he met when canvassing who said 'I can't vote for them, I'm from Wolverhampton'. Mike replied in a similar accent 'Well I'm from Kidderminster and I'm the ruddy candidate.' Welsh nationalism, like Scottish, is open to all.
