Overgrown radish

A lovely day today, but very hazy this morning, so nothing very interesting photographically on my walk up the hill.

One of the areas of our garden has really got away on us. Normally it needs regular weeding, but what with the house repairs, then being away for 4 months, it became severely overgrown. I started work on it today, and found this among the weeds. Too big and coarse to eat, I think! It is going on the compost heap.
