Kirkby Stephen auction mart

Wandered in here at the end of a walk. Fascinating in many ways. The speed and incomprehensibility of the auctioneer was exceptional. Each ram was sold in about one minute as he responded to raised eyebrows and slight finger twitches. Apparently this was an end of season sale and this part was for rams that farmers might need as a 'spare' before tupping time in November. So prices seemed to be in hundreds and not thousands.
