Dazed and Confused

This whole clocks/time change thing has got both of us confused. This morning we were going out for more DIY supplies and LooseCanon stopped to correct the time on his car clock, telling me how easy it is in his whizzy new car with its whizzy electronics. We had a bit of a debate as to what the term ' Daylight Saving ' meant . I said I didn't know but the clock had to go back. He pressed a few buttons and the clock went forward. Some time later still at the side of the road after a bit of heated discussion and consulting the manual he managed to put it back one hour. So we wasted most of our extra hour today trying to figure out how to put the clocks back. How I laughed.

Then this afternoon I couldn't work out why it appeared to be going dusk a bit early . We went out to try and get some interesting pictures but at nearly dark on a dull day, this little shrub on the grass verge opposite the house was the best I could do. Then it felt as though the sun should be over the yard arm but there was still an hour to go. Surely if the sun is below the horizon, it must be well over the yard arm? It is now anyway. Cheers!
