The return match

Its not often you get to play the same team home and away within a month, but that is exactly what happened between Newport and Ebbw Vale.

When we played them at Eugene Cross Park in Ebbw Vale we were destined to win. Ebbw Really should have won the match but they made many simple mistakes. This time it was the other way around.

It was a typical derby, but Ebbw certainly had the edge on Newport in the second half. Newport at one point looked to be cruising to a comfortable home win. But not long into the second half Ebbw started to turn the screw. Needless to say, Ebbw continued to pressurise newport and eventually won 29-31, i was gutted.
