Tuneful coffee

Today was a long day but a good day. We set off for Newcastle at 8am this morning as today is our sons 21st birthday and he's currently living there as he's studying at Northumbria Uni, and our daughter was off to see Ed Sheeran tonight.

We spent a wonderful day shopping, spoiling Niall and enjoying some lovely food.

Niall had to work from 12-6pm, so Stephen and I took advantage of some spare time to start Christmas shopping.

By 4pm we were somewhat jaded and we wandered down to the quayside and decided to have a coffee.

We went into a lovely coffee shop and found this singer with his guitar, sat in the corner playing. He was very talented. It turns out it's Newcastle Music Week from today until 31st October.

After having a delicious meal with Niall we took him to his friends house where he was having 'a few' drinks with his mates! We then hung around until 10.30pm for Ellie and finally got home about 12.30am.

V tired but everyone was happy, which is what really counts!
