Caught napping

I was in the dog house for much of the day so escaped to the garden and dug up plants that I'd never intended to dig up. What do they say? When you've dug a hole for yourself it's best to stop digging. Now I have quite a bit of bare soil at the front of the house and don't know what to put there. Pippa, on the other hand, can do no wrong.

A confusing day since we changed the clocks, not all at once, but in stages. The last one went back at about nine in the evening. Or was it eight? It always takes us a while to settle down to the clocks changing.
