High Flying Birds...

A pair of Canada Geese against the pine-covered slope are heading north. Are they coming in from southern areas to stay the winter, as many do, or are they just flying from pot-hole to pot-hole ponds. I'm thinking they're residents-to-be. Welcome home, high-flyers!
