The view from the office

Well, it was the view from the bench where I sat for a while reading this morning. Unfortunately, it was tricky to get comfortable. Too hot in the sun; too chilly in the shade, especially with the wind in evidence. Eventually I went and sat outside a cafe and drank water and read. Later on still, I took a dip in the Adriatic, which was chilly, but still pleasant, and then we sat for a while watching the sun set before coming back here for dinner.

As in the UK, the clocks have changed, and so here the mornings are a bit lighter (sunrise around 0615) and the evenings are darker (sunset just around 1700). I've adjusted my alarm clock and body clock to ensure that I continue to make the most of the available light.
