Ouch!

A great day today with two survey dives on the permanent transect at Fox's bay. A permanent transect is established to enable us to monitor the health of a particular reef patch over an extended period of time.

Unfortunately the bouy used to mark the transect and data logger had been swept away in the recent storm but we managed to find the data logger and establish a new bouy (not bad as the logger is 3 inches long....) Then we did a survey dive and were treated to some rarities including:
- Nurse shark
- Trumpetfish
- Sun anenome with attendant Sun Anemone Shrimp and Squat Anemone Shrimp
- Soapfish
- 3 Flamingo Tongues on 1 Gorgonian

Very annoyingly my dive computer decided to flood during the afternoon dive - the computer interface module decided to spontaneously unscrew (picture) - and so that's an expensive new purchase!
