Hard Core Rain

When it rains in a tropical locale, such as Mexico, the Storm Gods don't mess around. There was barely a cloud in the sky all day, but then, around 7:00pm, just as we were settling into our favorite dinner table on the beach, 20 feet from the surf, the heavens opened and a hard, heavy, powerful torrent of rain, accompanied by strong winds, came pelting down upon everyone.

Our meal was quickly moved under cover, the live music (a very romantic Mexican balladeer) continued, and the food never tasted better. In about twenty minutes, the rain and wind stopped as suddenly as it began, and peace and tranquility was restored.
