Flipside

On the flipside of yesterday's blip and all the weather we've been suffering with lately, and on the flipside of tonight's sunset; this is looking east whilst the sun set behind me (and another blipper who just happened to spot this at the same time).

Considering what we started like this morning - dodging downpours between cloudbursts - this is more than welcome, however brief it might be. Just glad to be able to splash a bit of blue (and a bit of pink) sky in my journal.

The Forth's water level has been creeping up and up and this spot now resembles a loch more than a river, with the normal river's edge about fifty yards in front of here. Spotted a seal swim by as I was standing here and it was fairly bombing along, along with all the other wildlife, as the water sped its way down towards the City and on towards the Firth.
