The Sting

There was a lot of Stellar jay/squirrel activity outside my front door this morning which was really nice because I’m home nursing the eye infection that started several days ago. Anything that was going to be blipped had to come to me rather than the other way around. I’ll admit I set this little guy up with peanuts in the flower pot, but since I only have one eye to work with I had to stack the deck in my favor.

"The Sting", as defined in the Robert Redford/Paul Newman movie of the same name, is “the moment when a con artist (me) finishes the play and takes the mark’s (squirrel’s) money (picture). If a con is successful, the mark (squirrel) does not realize he’s been taken (blipped)".
