Looking out, looking in ...

Today I have mostly been a lady who lunches. I met up with two ex-colleagues at Mannings Emporium where much chat and catching up took place. We were meant to be doing a walk afterwards but the weather closed in so we abandoned that plan and ordered more coffee.

I was a little early for my rendezvous and had time for a spot of inquiry. I discovered a cluster of little houses, mouldy and mildewy under their ivy shrouds but full of beauty and interest. I might have to return for a spot of more dereliction tomorrow.
