Egret

Thanks to optomist for a great trip to Takamatua today.

I thought these were cattle egrets, but they don't look like the right colour with the dark beaks, they seem to be adult because of the little head plume, so I'm not sure, so if anyone can give a definitive answer I'll be glad!

they look more like little egrets, but they are only vagrant so probably not those?

turns out they are little egrets so I 'm told by a bird expert so that's very exciting (for a bird nerd!)
