Autumn Walk...

As Alan and Ed were enjoying a walk round Loch Leven in the most beautiful autumn weather, David and I were talking to the architect and pool consultant in the first of which I am sure will be many meetings, to discuss the installation of a hydrotherapy pool in our house in what is currently the games room.

Public pools are not much good for Alan. The water is too cold and not many pools have the specialised equipment needed to get him in and out of the pool safely so, as swimming is his absolutely favourite thing in the world Tess Daly aside! as well as being good for him therapeutically, we feel it's a good investment for his future health and well being.

Of course nothing is ever straightforward and there are many, many things to think about before any decisions can be made as to type, size, shape of pool etc. Deciding that will be the easy bit. I foresee much stress ahead but seeing his mega excited reaction on being told that the wheels were now in motion to make it happen, makes it all worthwhile.

And no doubt it will provide a few blips along the way :-)))
