pumpkin pair

Em and I spent a very productive hour or so in Nanannes garden, designing and cutting our pumpkins in preparation for their debut tomorrow. Em drew the face on her big pumpkin and stood with me as I carved it out, issuing commands and directions. Apparently the eyebrows are not thick enough and I didn't cut the 'tail' in the 'exact right place'. Oh dear me. That being said I think she's pleased with the outcome. She certainly had fun decorating it once it was cut with her marker pens and leaf crown.
