Not Porty People and Places

This Chelsea Pensioner went to The Tower of London this afternoon to make his own vigil at The Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red installation of 888,246 hand-made ceramic poppies that represent every British Military death in the First World War.

It was a most moving sight in so many ways and the thousands who flocked there this English schools half term week added to the profundity of such an incomprehensible loss of lives.

A busy three hours in The Board Room and a catch up with our youngest son and over four hours to and fro London on Worst Great Western took up most of the rest of the day.
