Garden Display

We had another “Open Home “at 12 midday today. These open homes only last half to three quarters of an hour but we, the property owners, have to vacate the property for that time. We are getting into the routine of a quick tidy-up, dog’s bed to laundry, co-ordinate bath towels, clean kitchen bench top, recycling bins to car-port and the like. Then we take off in our vehicle with the dogs in the back. They think it is great…..another outing…yay.
Today we bought some nice savoury rolls at a favourite bakery and headed to Pollard Park. There we sat in the shade and ate our picnic lunch. It will be home-made sandwiches and a thermos flask next time.
I crossed the green grassed area and peeped through the tree to the Waterlea Gardens section of the park. There, across Fulton Stream, was a very clever garden display. As you can see it has been cleverly planted up to display two big ducks followed by three ducklings. There is “water” underneath them and blue “sky” above the display. I was entranced and so pleased to have seen this. If we had been in the actual Waterlea Gardens we may have been too close to appreciate the whole display. Well done the designer and park staff who have made this for our benefit and delight.
