As we ate lunch today the sky to the south promised plenty of action.

Big, bad, threatening sky

Amazingly it pretty much went around us, though not for others, including my friends on the other side of town who have lost their little dog. Nui ran away when the thunder and hail started. I hope they've found her by now.

Plenty of tablet time for Dad today. I made a pie for lunch tomorrow. Hopefully we won't be blown away for the opening of the high country fishing season tomorrow. We got Dad a license for tomorrow and at last I sorted out my running shoes. No more trips to the mall - yay!

Only one more full day with Dad. It has been wonderful.
