Waiting his turn

There's already guisers in there doing their turn before getting a bag of goodies (including his big brother who stole his joke).

Youngest and his wee pal waited patiently and then the lovely hostess invited them in, pretended she'd never heard his joke before and filled his bag with sweeties.
