Thursday 4 March 2010: The World Book Day that was Thursday
Responding to Julia Lampam's thread in the Forums, today's blip is bookish.
I have to confess that I haven't read this book yet, and only bought it because the title tickled me. Having said that, it took me ten years to get round to reading a second-hand copy of The Godfather that I bought, so it's early days.
Thanks to blip, I can remember exactly when and where I bought it - so looking at it today brings back memories of the summer.
Inside, there are ads for stuff I've never heard of and a suggestion that you pass it on to the Forces after you've read it.
If I never get round to reading it, I feel I've already had my quid's worth.
