Botanical prints

I've mentioned before my love of botanical drawings and so I've had a few goes at my version using the camera.

These two peonies and iris are from the bunch mum brought me from her garden. I especially love the dark rose peony. It's pretty ubiquitous and so maybe I've taken it a little too much for granted! Photographing it tonight made me fall in love with it all over again. Lovelier LARGE.

Nice relaxing day. Sunny but a hideous wind. Good to soak up a little sun this afternoon in the shelter of the patio.
