Promising

Between preparations for Halloween and a last minute project a client threw at me, last week seems a bit of a blur. It got done, though.

Best Halloween ever. So good that I didn't take a single picture. Which is fine because I will remember it anyway. It got so cold that the little Elsa nearly froze, even with her jacket on. Her Ninja sister and Tiger brother were toasty though, and stayed out longer for maximum candy gathering, which caused some consternation and candy envy. While we propped all the monkeys up on the guest room bed to watch The Addams Family, the grown-ups partied, ate, handed out candy at the door and ate some more. It was lovely.

Yesterday I moved at a snails pace rather than the pace of a Tasmanian devil and tidied up, putting things back the way they were.

Today is promising to be a bit warmer, which means massive leaf raking, pruning back, bagging, draining the fountain, stowing the last outside stuff in the garage. Clocks went back an hour too, which feels like a huge bonus: earlier sunrise is always good and man oh man, that extra hour's sleep was heavenly.
