Fireworks!

This evening we went to the annual bonfire and firework display at Gosforth for Guy Fawkes. The fireworks were great! Quite difficult to photograph and I wanted to enjoy them rather than play with my camera. Took this pic and my microbiologist husband remarked that it looks like a type of fungus! I disagree of course. Afterwards we got dressed up as zombies, whilst watching a zombie movie for inspiration, and went to a house party. Had a great time but needing a lazy day today to recover from the Halloween parties!
