Gwalia General Stores, St Fagan's

A day of typical Welsh weather - some very heavy showers and a lot of wind about.

We started the day with the grandkids and female kids going swimming, while the 2 remaining boys (me and my son) went off for a little tour along the Heads of the Valleys road, up into the Brecon Beacons and then back to base.

Then we headed off to the Museum of Welsh Life at St Fagans, for lunch and then a quick tour before taking the first of the party to leave, as they had to be ready for school and university on Monday.

Then after a final meal the remainder of us said farewell to the youngest daughter who had to be back in Cardiff for lectures first thing.

It's over 20 years since I last visited St Fagans, and it has had a lot of "new" old buildings added. I will be returning, in solo mode, to do some more serious photography there.

No broadband or decent phone connection for the last few days, so here are the last couple of days blips.
