No 2 is equivalent to an HB pencil. Oh for a box of lovely marbled green Venus pencils. Are they still available?

But what is a No 2 2/4 ? Kathy worked as a numerator in the 2000 census.

I have a friend who uses pencils until they are an unusable stub. I like propelling pencils.
