On a Roll

Thought about a Horse theme today, seeing as it's Melbourne Cup Day.

These rolls of hay caught my eye. I figure Horses do love their hay.

Melbourne Cup day is huge here in Oz. It's like the country stands still for 3 and a 1/2 minutes to watch the "Race that stops the nation".

It's a huge event here; so much so that Melbourne Victoria hold a Public Holiday.

German horse Protectionist ridden by English Jockey Ryan Moore won the 6 Million Dollar race.

Sadly the favourite Admire Ratki (Japanes) suffered a heart attack post race.
