Peregrine falcon

In a flurry of excitement today several of us watched this peregrine falcon take a kestrel in the air.
It killed its prey, then dropped to the ground to feed but got disturbed by something and flew off with it but dropped it.
It swooped down after it but then got into a squabble with a sparrowhawk for it, which neither of them won.
After a while it flew off and I was able to get this shot, and later we found the poor kestrel's headless body.
