Amongst the Autumn Leaves

I just love these Amanita muscaria, commonly known as fly agaric. There is just one large patch of them here on the land under the Birch trees of the old chicken run which is not in use right now! I wonder if the chickens would have pecked them? Something was certainly chomping them.
Off to Cork for my course, environmental Archaeology tonight.
