Autumn Bluejay

Sometimes the light on a rainy autumn day is just so beautiful, so perfect. This stunningly blue feathered fellow selected a lovely backdrop and was a fine subject after yesterday's silent one.

This day came in gloomy and cooler with a steady rain moving in. The birds, a scurry of squirrels and a lone young chipmunk are busy feeding.
