fruiting bodies

Perhaps a quick scrub with a Lidl babywipe was enough to defeat the mould growing on my secondary brown office-shoes sufficiently to prevent them generating any sort of smell and resultant wrinkled snouts or comments in their first week in the office since 2010. However, the true test of the smelliness of any pair of shoes is when they're stuck in a locker for sixty hours over the weekend to stop them being bagged-up with all the damp towels and sweat-infected clothing left in the changing-rooms. My long-standing-but-finally-getting-a-bit-past-it regular office-shoes are OK to leave in the locker over the weekend as long as they get left out on Thursday evening in order to spend a day breathing and relaxing before being shut in when I leave on Friday.
