Newcastle life

Seaton Delaval Hall

This is Seaton Delaval Hall, a beautiful house and gardens built in 1730 for Admiral George Delaval. It was pretty deserted today due to the November weather. We explored and had a tour inside. Afterwards we drove 1 mile down the road to buy some fish and chips and then drove over to St Marys lighthouse at Whitley Bay. It was raining so we enjoyed our chips in the warmth of the car but with the view of St Marys island with the fierce waves crashing against it and over the causeway. Afterwards we walked along the beach at Whitley bay. This evening off to a comedy club in Newcastle to continue my husbands birthday celebrations.
