There Was A Crooked Man...

There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile.
He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile.
He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse.
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.

The rhyme apparently has nothing to do with fence crossing points and dwellings - but that's another story....

I am glad we don't have to go over this stile on our walks - it looks about to collapse. It is not an animal friendly stile anyway - and as our dogs are 26kg each I am not about to go lifting them over it. I would then become a crooked man!

There was definitely no crooked sixpence on there today
