Imperial Shags (if you'll pardon the expression)

This is the Imperial Shag, aka King or Blue-eyed Cormorant (Phalacrocorax atriceps). In (Argentine) Spanish it's known as the Cormorán Imperial or sometimes the Cormoran Real. I love it for its deep blue eyes. I saw these birds today on a short cruise in the Beagle Channel, an excursion from the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia, where I am currently staying.
