A Little Less Conversation....

......a little more action please.

A big news story here today is about a ' dialogue' between Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher in 1983, a recording of which has just been released, when he had to grovellingly aplogise to her for sending troops into Grenada, a Commonwealth state, without having informed her first. She was quite understanding and more or less said that it was ok because she had invaded the Falklands the year before without actually letting the USA know first.
Apparently in both cases it was because they didn't want the story to get out before the action went ahead.
She finished the conversation by saying she had to go to a tricky debate in the House of Commons. He apparently said "All right. Go get'em, eat 'em alive."
