City? Country? Wind-up!

Mouse that is.
Last week the subject of a White Elephant exchange for a Christmas party prompted a vote for either a bona fide gift or a humorous gift.  After humorous won the vote, Judy recounted a boxed LIVE small white mouse - how it behaved when released, and how the party-goers reacted to the mouse.
(This sounded dreadful to me - what is one supposed to do with a live mouse?)
Much later as Mr. LovePopcorn and I were thinking about options of what to bring he mused "we should get a mechanical/wind-up mouse for a gift!"
Looking online we found such an item not only existed, but was at a local vendor, whereupon we went out and bought it.
The party will be December 7th.  I'll let you know what happens, so stay tuned……
