Pregnant skink

This is a regular skink, about 4" long. It is docile and friendly and heavily pregnant being full of eggs. She is in her breeding colours.

Today virtually all of South Australia came to a silent stop at 11am to remember all those who have fallen in wars.

This year our Remembrance Day has added significance as it marks 100 years since the start of World War I, a conflict that claim over 60,000 Australian lives. Lest we forget.
