Our little Mr Cyclops, since June 2008.
The eye was removed after long standing treatment and daily drops for an infection when there seemed to be no real recovery ...
He adjusted so well and like the vet said, soon he would not even miss the eye ..
Hooligan and his wife was adopted by ourselves when our children relocated to an overseas destination.
If I thought that I had adopted him, I should think again. It rather seems, in fact, that he adopted me. Nowadays he is almost always at my side, like a shadow, he follows me everywhere.
Not a young dog anymore, he is still full of his earlier antics. He loves to 'disappear' into garden growth with just the white point of his tail indicating his whereabouts - always ready for a good chase, just ask the hadedas!
