Coomkeen Loop

We went looping the loop around the beautiful valley of Coomkeen.

There was a bit of weather around as you can see. Fortunately most of it went down the bay and over the Mizen leaving us to get wet only once.

I have cooked (over-cooked?) this up just a bit - on the way we discussed how images lose something when uploaded to blip, so I have probably added more drama than usual to see how it goes. Definitely needs to be seen large.

Edit: I want to mention the arthouse film we saw last night. If you love black and white images try to see 'Ida'. Shot in 3:4 format it has exquisite compositions in every shot and the lighting is sublimely perfect. The frame is composed very unusually with the main subject often right at the bottom, sometimes even cut off below it - but it works and is such a bold technique that bends the rules with great effect.
