Turtle

Today we were at Nijmegen to pay a visit to a niece, a long lost neece.
She spotted me at Hyves.
She's the daughter of my fathers brother.
He died in a shipping diasaster in 1960.
Altough he died in this accident (on a big dredger actually), he was the reason I became a shipping engineer too.

But: his daughter and I never met until now!
We had a very pleasant day with her and her husband.
We went for a walk through a part of the city and there I spotted this turtle, sitting on the Pile of the Gods, look here for the story.

On our way home we ran into a traffic jam, so it took a bit more time then we expected...
Tomorrow a course in gasturbines at Berum power plant!
