Men At Work

I've got nipping down to Stampers' Grove down to a fine art, can do it there and back in under one and a half hours.

My bus stop home is opposite Lothian House, a block of flats converted from government offices on the site of the Hopetoun Basin.

Along the frontage and end blocks of the building, between the windows, are different relief images, some 54 in all, of men engaged in various professional activities, which I surmise are connected with the government departments that occupied the building. They do add a note of interest among the traditional art deco features.
