Sucky stretch

A girlfriend of mine had a mean surgery just weeks ago. Last night, she was driving with her three kids and a young man on drugs ran his pick-up truck into their car. Dana's daughter was hurt in the crush; fortunately she will be fine. No brain swelling or damage, no internal bleeding; luckily, no memories of the accident, or the helicopter flight to the children trauma center in Jackson either. Crushed hand and shoulder, lots of scratches and bruising. Probably bad dreams for some time to come...
