Alepher meets old teacher

Last day in Malawi for now and Boss Alepher decides we have one vital visit to make.she insisted that we go to a remote rural school called Choma about 30 km away. No not a little spin on tarmac, but a treacherous and unforgiving goat track for the most past, with bumps and bends, craters and carts, and any other little exciting twist you can imagine.
We left at five, hence the hairdo!!
It took about two hours, but along the way, came the scream, stop boss, thats my old teacher.
We had always wondered how her grasp of English was so good. She had talked about him, her Grade 8 teacher, and here he was, now a schools inspector, cycling to a rural school, Doroba to check on the early morning timekeeping of the teachers.
They both had a great welcome for each other, so we carried himself and his bicycle, on their war. I said that he news wasn't ALL good: The English was great but the spelling hadn't caught up. He was delighted, but not surprised at her progress to qualifying as a nurse and becoming the boss of an international organisation, as she claims herself.
The told him that he was very strict, but excellent. He told her that she was the most inquisitive student that he ever had.
We both thanked him and headed into the territories as it might be called.
The school was enriching, but the girls hostel will need all our donors to help.
