'Wash Out'

Our working bee up at the school was a wash out this morning and subsequently cancelled. It rained all night and all morning non stop up until about midday.

This afternoon we were invited around to our good friends Bill & Meg's to help celebrate their son Barry's 25th birthday. As always the food was fabulous and the company was great. Then weather cleared up beautifully and we were able to sit outside to eat lunch in the sunshine. It was really nice to catch up with some other friends of theirs that we don't get to see too often, the beers, wine and Amarula were flowing freely all afternoon. We didn't arrive home until about 6:45pm and ended up having take away Indian for dinner.
