The Lantern Waste

As a child, I read the Chronicles of Narnia. Most of the action in the last days of Narnia took place in the area of Lantern Waste, which is where the lamp-post was located. I loved the imagery in that series and find that lamp-posts such as these, resembling the old gas lamps of the Victorian period, a symbol of a magical link to another time or place.
This series of (probably) 6 photos tries to portray a macabre otherworldly mystique that the notion of Lantern Waste evokes.
