Big cat prowler

Funny old day. Awoke to discover that something had upset the dog's digestion. Not a nice start to the day. Then drove into London for a meeting, and was caught up in a lengthy jam in Lambeth. Twelve mile journey, two hour duration. Next came an unwelcome phonecall, telling me that the car we put into the garage for a service and MOT this morning also needs other expensive work done to it.

Hey ho. The reason for driving into town, rather than letting the train take the strain, was to transport a heavy haul of boxes to my son in south London, needed for his house move further west later this week.

Positivity is the only way to live, so none of this got me down. What to blip? It could have been the beautiful light over the river, or the sharp shadows behind some of the high rise buildings, but instead I couldn't resist this: wet birch leaves on the beautiful Jaguar F-Type Coupe that I have been driving for the past few days.

Fabulous car. That was today's other irksome little moment. End of road test, farewell F-Type.
