Impressed

One of the best things about being a parent is when your child impresses you.

To be fair to James, he has always made me proud.

However, to come home and find that he has learned the bass line to Money by Pink Floyd....icing on the cake ! Particularly tricky time signature AND it is a quality tune. More importantly, I was allowed to enter the usually private area of our house - his bedroom, and was granted an impromptu performance of not only Money, but a number of other tunes, including "Smells like teen spirit" amongst others. He also seems to have developed the facial expressions and specific movements of his guitar idols!

Some would say I am easily impressed. Or perhaps I am biased?
