London Zoo Penguin Pool

The old, now disused, Art Deco Penguin Pool. The penguins have now been moved to a much larger pool elsewhere in the zoo! Thankfully Grade I listed, it's a monument to the moderne and all the more lovely now it's been liberated of its original purpose; we can just simply enjoy the endearing sculptural concrete beauty.
